I have a small worm farm in my fridge for my axies. I wanted to get an idea from you guys of how u maintain and feed your worms. I feed mine carrots, potato skin, mango skins and crushed dog food every once in a while. I started out with 30 and I now have 17 new babies and an additional 30 from the store.:)

Crushed dog kibble is high in protein, thats all.

There is a whole thread on worms and worms farming here

I have a worm farm as well, just much bigger. I use red wrigglers, my guys seem to love them :)

I just throw in all the kitchen scraps, vegetables, mushrooms, anything really. Just don't put meat in (it stinks) or anything acidic, and those worms will multiply like crazy. I feed my axies about 4 worms a day, started with 200, and they seem to be multiplying way faster than being fed :)
