Hello !
i bought my 2nd axolotl, first one lives in tank for ~2 years and feels fine. so i decided to buy another one
1 week since he is under quarantine in small tank.
i've put some mycopur and baktopur for prophylaxy in the water,
everyday 30-50% water changes (water is~19-21 degrees),
+ vitamines (sera fishtamin).
eats very good (earthworms, shrimps, sera nova lotl xl, grigs)
looks skinny and pale, but i hope it is the question of time
paces along the tank,
excreted 3 stones (about 0.3cm3 each),
very nervous on touching and disturbing
and in total now i'm ready to put him into the big tank (100L)
but i worry a bit about the appearance of his gills
it was difficult to determine on first sight, but after 1 week i find them just damaged, with no fungus or whatever dangerous for 2nd axolotl
please take a look on the pics and let me know whether his is ok or not
thanks in advance
