I got a panasonic DMC-FZ18 Lumix camera for xmas, lucky me,, here's some shots of my wild type axolotl and one of my P. hongkongensis's, that I took on the day..

and yea, Santa has been training the elves in electronics and what not, they make a mean digital camera, much evolved from the days of candy sticks and rocking horses..
 
Just had a thought, no offence intended but I thought kaysie sounded like a girls name, I hope u are a girl kaysie, but then again, Kaysie Jones out of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a badass man with hockey sticks for weapons... oops, this isn't about newts!!...

yea I checked the photo, sorry about my confusion, you're holding what looks to be a turtle proir to mutation, possible in its teenage years..
 
Yes, he was in a fairly pristine area, and hadn't been subjected to the toxic ooze in a sewer.

In reality, it's a Wood Turtle (Glyptemys insculpta), which is a protected and rare species in Michigan. I found it this summer while working. I was THRILLED!
