I have a axolotl who just recently recovered from slime coat shedding. I made her a hospital tank everything is in check but when I woke up today I noticed that there is this yellowish like fuzz on only 1 of her gills I tried to take a clear picture but it’s hard to see. I’m wondering if it’s fungus and if I should start giving her a salt bath. She eats just fine and acting normal I’m just very concerned

Hmmm definitely looks like fungus to me. I would order some Furan2 and make some johns solution. A super knowledgeable breeder on here CalagaryCoppers gave me a handout to make it, I’ll attach that right away.

Def fungus

How is your tank testing?
temp?
gh/kh?

tub
twice daily water change as cold as possible
Use prime to dechlorinate nothing else
Make and use johns solution at 40% for 2 days then to 30% until 1 week past resolution.

You can make and add Indian Almond leaf extract as well
