Yeah look at them have a big barney though! So funny...
I got mine at the beginning of February when they were tiny (literally tadpoles! Had to hand-feed them one bloodworm at a time!) and I've had them for two months so they are four months old.
I've only ever seen axolotls in Finland once, a few years back, but they were two adults. When I got mine, it seemed that there'd been a huge influx of them as every pet shop had them (in tanks with a gravel and heater, of course - well, they look "exotic" so they need to be in warm water, right?).
Must go outside to see if the ground is okay now. It was raining last night so that should've softened the earth a bit.
I do feed them carp pellets as these sink to the bottom, but since they've been on a diet of earthworms, they kind of snub the pellets and I end up syphoning them up when I clean.
Hey, Yannick, do you know where to get turkey basters here in Finland? They don't seem to have them at all... Would make my job a whole lot easier!!!
