Hi all, im kinda new to the hobby, i got 3 fire salamanders in February and its taken me ages to get their tank settled to how i/they like it. iv made my best effort to recreate a forest floor type environment
i i realized by trial and error that i could get the plants to take if i mostly used aquarium plants growing in under an inch of damp forest floor substrate. up one side of the viv is hanging a scrap of old carpet [found in the forest ] other plants grow on this
