As of now, there is a photo gallery available for registered users of the site to use. This acts like a mini version of pbase or photobucket in that you can upload your photos and link to them (and there is a popup box at the right of the new message page below the smilies so you can include one of your gallery photos in a message on the forum!).

Whilst everyone can access the Gallery and make comments, only Donors (of $10 or more), Site Contributors and Moderators can currently upload photos.

Enjoy!

I posted this image in this message using the [Images] Popup on the right of the new message window!

Neat!

I was hoping for something like this, I love these types of gallerys, I've seen them on many other sites before. The only thing though is that we "normal members" can't upload pictures, I think thats kinda silly that members to the site can't actually post their pictures there. I guess people could upload too many pictures (like me [*~*]), but maybe there could be a limit to how many pictures you can upload in a month or something. Do you have any plans for members posting in the future?

What a great feature! I’ve already uploaded a few photos. It would be nice if the image it loads into the post was the same size as the image in the gallery. Is this something that can be altered? It seems a bit small to me – and when you click on it to enlarge you have to wait whilst the gallery loads. On the whole though it’s smashing.

Ryan – I think you're missing the point. Nice features cost money and the site is funded by donations. Become a donor and you can use the nice features ;) .

Dawn: Some have been updated actually but I haven't gotten around to the rest. However I've only 2 more major things I want to do and the first one is the donors, so I'll do that today. I can't remember how much you donated, but be aware that the upload facility is only available to donors of $10 or more.

Go there, click upload.

OK, I give up. Where on the page is the "Upload" command? Or else maybe it's not registering me as a donor because there was a locked lock on the bottom? Does anyone else see the upload command or is it just me being stupid (nothing new though) Sorry for being so inept.

You were absolutely right Dawn - there was no upload button. I have found there's a slight bug with the way the gallery software's permissions work versus the rest of the forum. I've done a workaround so now donors can see the upload button. Give it a shot.

Sorry this happened! I should have tested it.

For Pete's sake, someone upload a photo :p.

And lo there was much rejoicing.
