HA!!!

A nice yin yang style pic of Motley(melanoid) and Pyrite(gold albino). Then attention hog Chao had to get in the middle of it as usual.

My un-named piebald axolotl. Has some gold on him too o: I don't think it means anything though since that's not what makes it piebald.

Reminds me of my Frangipane 2. I first thought it was a creepy skin disease or UNWANTED pigmentation but it's still there and it's a bit on her side, legs and tail as well. Still need a more recent picture:

He has been here a month and he is just too amazing. I can't believe how much he has changed!

I wish my leucistic was pretty. She's all covered with black goo.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
