I'll show mine, show me your's.New tank idea's
so this is my 55gal build I finished about 2 months ago. I started the cycle with Lotl poop for the first 4 days, then I got 5 goldfish. I left them in for 4 days (they are now in my outdoor pond). Two days after I pulled them, my cycle hit its ammonia peak, nitrites are now dropping. Now all that is in there are my trapdoor snails, Copods, daphnia and some brown planeria I put in there and lots of plants. Soon, it will be a full on pond Vivarium! I've been working on this since last August, but had to stop do to weather temps an humidity factors. I finished it almost 2 months ago, I let it air out for two weeks and then soaked it in salt for 2 weeks. it's been cycling since

It's pretty clear I'm into the naturalist type set ups. But at the same time I want to do a Zen like set up community fish tank like Tammyaxie's Lotl tank. Tanks like that are very relaxing. Heck, all aquariums are relaxing lol actually, I'd be happy with the sound of running water lol just not the toilets running water
This is the waters surface. There will be many more floating plants when I get them, I just have to ship some out so I can get the "trading" started

I would give you some, but I don't think I can ship'm to the UK

But I'll happily ship some to you TammyAxie! I have lots to go around! Besides, I think you two are pretty awesome. I LOVE animal lovers. They tend to be the most kind and logical people around
This it a top view of the waterfall I made. I love the brown diatoms growing on the rocks. It kinda makes the rocks look more natural

but I want it off my sand!!!!
Btw, ignore the tubing. When all is finished, that will supply fresh aquarium water to the empty planter hole located to the right. Also under the waterfall is a giant cave for the Lotls to chill during the daytime. I just hope they like it when they move in :-/ holy cow, I Want to move IN!
The above the water line plants are Kennilworth ivy, common spider plants, vinca. And some random pond plant that I don't know. I'm gonna test and see how some vining "black eyed Suzans" do. The Kennilworth ivy is already in bloom, so I though some yellow flowers would look good too.
On the surface is Dwarf Water lettuce and Azzola "fairy moss" soon to be getting some Salvinia.
Under the waterline I have some Pond clover fern (marsileascaea) great for cold water" some creepy Jenny/money wart/ pot O'gold (Lysimachia nummularia) and some pond plant called Parrot Feathers. All of which the Lotls Love to hang out in. Soon to be getting some Sag. grass as well.
This is the Parrot Feathers. It's really neat stuff. It's green, yellow and burgundy. Colorful!
Pond clover fern. It sends up 4 leaf clovers to the water surface that look like Lillypads!
And this is the tank everyone is in right now. It's a 40g breeder tank.
I made the decor out of Polly clay. The Lotls Love their new caves!
Same plants, parrot feathers, dwarf water lettuce, and creepy Jenny. Maybe it's creeping Jenny, but I like creepy Jenny better lol
Btw, sorry this was so long, but I like to explain in detail. Knowledge is Priceless
If you want to know how I made the 55gallon setup, I'll gladly tell you in detail and I took photos of all the steps
Oh, and Stubby says, Hello!
