Those are great tanks! I Really like the Easter newt and tiger salamander tanks.

Do you often find your kweichowensis in the water area?
 
I'd be very wary with the gravel in those tanks. I lost a bufo americanus to impaction that I had raised from a tadpole.
 
I find that they spend a majority of their time in the water or half in it and half out. Occasionally completely under water. Sometimes they spend tome on land.

Hey, nice enclosures! One question, for the terrestrial kweichow tank, how do you clean the water area?
 
I just empty the water and put new water in.
 
I don't have caecilians i just built a simple setup for one for fun and then posted pics. I don't have a lot of the animals i posted pics of.

Don't have:T.shanjing, T.verrceouus, caecilians, Eastern newts, Tadpoles.

Had: Oregon newt, American toad morphs. Red eyed tree frogs, Pacific tree frogs

Have: 4-Kweichow crocodile newt, 1-Whites tree frog, 1-Big eyed tree frog, 2-Tiger salamaders, 1-Marbled salamander, 3-fire bellied toads, 2-Bumble bee dart frogs, And i am getting an Axolotl today and I will post pics of it and its tank.

I am currently working on a false bottom stream terrarium for my fire bellies.
 
We may be thinking about different concepts, but what i call a stream terrarium is completely inadequate for Hypselotriton or Cynops.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
