The most incredible thing happened today.
3 months ago our female T. Marm managed to escape from what we thought was an escape-proof vivarium. We looked everywhere - laid down wet towels for over a week, turned our newt room inside out and upside down on at least 3 different occasions, took apart the rest of the basement looking for her - and nothing. Finally we gave up. 3 months went by. Then, just an hour ago, we found her sitting next to the newt room door - alive! She was a little dusty, but otherwise appears no worse for wear, and is even still rather fat! Our little holiday miracle!
