This morning I found this animal: Ambystoma mavortium. This larvae looked fine before and suddenly looked like this. The body seems fuzzy and some of the blood vessels in the gills seem to be expanded.

Any idea what's going on? Or what measures I can take next?

Just got these 2 weeks ago and I am trying to fatten them up now. Water quality should be fine, because other species are alive and doing well.

How long ago did you add these to the tank? Often times if the water parameters in a tank change slowly the animals adjust, but adding a new animal can shock it. Just a guess.
Also, have you checked for parasites? That might explain the persistence of its underweight.
