Illness/Sickness: Axie eating but not getting fat! help!!

The axolotls will like it at those temperatures better than 30c put them in there.

Now it's crazy!! our airconditioner broke -_- and my mother wont allow me to place it in her room!what should I do and also do you mean dog food as carnivore pellets? and is Aquagrow oscar pellets safe?

Your mom bought this animal, you said. It needs to be in cool water or it will be suffering. (15 to 20 degrees). Perhaps you can show her this.

She told me to put it in the fridge

It needs a permanent home that is cool. A box in the fridge cannot be a permanent home. Your mother bought this animal so it is reasonable that she helps you to keep it in suitable conditions. Please show her this thread.

If the air conditioning will be repaired then the fridge will be the best place for the time being.

No we do not mean dog food as carnivore pellets. We mean pellets designed for carnivorous fish. Aquagrow oscar pellets are not safe, oscar fish are not carnivorous fish.

Look for pellets such as NovoLotl, Hikari sinking carnivore pellets or pellets suitable for salmon.

How about reptomin?

Reptomin are not carnivore pellets.

This thread has given me the biggest headache. Reptomin is not suitable for axolotls. As said, Hikari carnivore pellets or soft salmon/trout pellets are ideal. It may be best to keep them in the fridge until you are able to place them in a room with a temperature cool enough for them to be comfortable. If you have no air conditioning, a fan over the surface of the water or a lot of frozen ice bottles are your aid to keeping the water temperature down.
