Sorry if this is a newbie question but I am a newbie to axalotl keeping.
My baby axie sheamus is about 9 weeks old, growing and eating well but for the last few days he's had something sticking out of his underside. I thought he was going to the toilet (maybe he is) but it seems it's always there.
He lives in bottled water with no chemicals or chlorine and eats brine shrimp but is only interested in fully grown ones, completely blanks bbs. He has between 3-4 brine shrimp p/d which I figured was ok given the size of his stomach to the size of the shrimp but he would eat more given half a chance he loves his grub. He's about 1.5-2 inches roughly.
Anybody know if his dangly bit is normal or something to worry about?
