Breeding Gray Treefrogs indoors

Re: breeding ,greys, treefrogs ,indoors,

Hi Vincent,

That's interesting. So you're saying that only the ones that grow fast will be strong and worth keeping?

Hi John ,yes that is what I found a friend had exactly the same thing with HYLA JAPONICA lots of babies the first out survived the others just died off. However I raised over two hundred HYLA ARBOREA without any problem so maybe it was the diet  The friends I have that breed amphibians try to limit the numbers they raise so they get fewer but stronger animals.
HAVE FUN

Re: breeding ,greys, treefrogs ,indoors,

Thanks the the info Vincent. I will keep that in mind when I decide what to do with my little monsters. Right now they are a ravenous horde of flaked fish food eaters. I'm very surprised at just how much they eat.

Spawned again ,my oldest female spawned yesterday, they have been in and out of amplexus for a couple of weeks now. For a slight variation I PUT THE LARGE PET PAL containing six frogs in a greenhouse the hot weather over the last two days did the trick massess of spawn  I think I was to early with my first attempt still my technique works well enough. I hope this helps people to give breeding them a go
HAVEFUN:cool:
