I realise this is probably a really stupid question and one I wasnt overly concerned about until my daughter sowed the seed of doubt lol
We have had a 2ft tank ready for some time now and just been looking for an axolotl to fill it. Well we managed to get 2 babys which arrived today, I have put them into a small container for now but was intending to add them to the 2ft tank tonight (once i have rechecked water quality is still fine). Are they to small for a tank this size when theyre only about 4 - 6cm ? (havent measured them, but i was told they were this size approx and it looks right, without disturbing them by getting a more acurate measurement lol)
Sorry for the stupid question, but i dont want to stress them by putting them in their big home if theyre to small.
Before anyone mentions that a 2ft tank is to small once they get bigger to house them both, i fully intend on getting a much larger one before it gets to that point
Thanks in advance to anyone able to help without laughing
Im fairly sure that it will be fine for them, but you know what it's like once someone has sown the seed
