CB A. mavortium odd light coloration

In your video of the salamander larvae, what are the pellets that are laying on the bottom of the aquarium?

When I raise eastern tiger larvae, I am digging for worms every day, and this gets old fast.
So I am looking for something as easy as dump into the small pool>
