Completely random...

When i get told no me and my sister would buy what ever it is anyways and hide it from my mum and then its a case of what can she do... lol My mum said no to the axololts but i still got them "its to late iv sorted it out" :p.... And when my dad always says no my mum will buy dogs, cats, and lizards in the past and my dad just had to bite his lip... You should definatly go for it :D:D... But im not taking any responsibility if you do get in trouble... GO FOR IT get an axolotl lol :D:D

So, Mac, your philosophy on these such issues is do it any way and wait for the missus to calm down? And this works!? Would you like to swap? like a sort of time share

Well, it doesn't usually work. But I do it so infrequently that she didn't know how to handle it. You don't stay married for 27 years by doing what you want to do, but every now and then I sneak one in. Or 4.

I am currently at home most of the time due to a work injury so I just take matters into my own hands during the day while hubby's away and then by the time he gets home - it's done. He fusses, rolls his eyes but I just usually treat him as well...We women understand our men are usually little boys at heart who just want new "toys" when we get new ones so...lol :D

Mine happens to collect 1:64 scale cars and monster trucks...I buy a new pet and distract him with a new "toy" or two! lol Works great for me! ;) "Dear, look what I just found on eBay for you today!"...I'm up to 3 axolotl tanks and 11 axolotls! He really started to like the wild types so I added one to my collection and call it "his" - but all who know me out here know who Mextli actually belongs to!!! heeheehee However, he has taken a bigger interest in my hobby as a result and I will be adding Andersoni in a couple of months without any argument from him!! No...he's not a member out here so he won't see my post...heeheehee

well see now... I have been plying him with Lego. And geocaching stuff too. Sooooo hopefully it will butter him up ;)

Innocently ask him what colour he thinks is coolest (hypthothetically of course) and then find one that needs a new home, it worked for me and Blanco.

Now hubby-to-be thinks Blanco looks lonely, we are getting him a wild type friend.

Seriously, once he sees him eat a worm he will be hooked too!
