Forum Move May 31st 2009

was a little worried to be honest, but im glad to see the community is stil around.
Been here over 8 years. We weren't going anywhere. It was just a tedious combination of bad admins on the first host and transfer problems on the second. In the end I transferred it myself.

I guess its true then "If you want something done properly, do it yourself" Thanks for all the hardwork you can go and have a sleep now.

I want to say Thank You as well.
I was missing al the reading that I do.

Hi John

Thanks for your efforts in moving the forum, sounds like all of us were missing it while it was down, I guess it shows how important the health of our little ones are to us.

Now off to ask those question and post a few photos

The site is quicker to load from this adjacent principality. I hope others elswhere are not disadvantaged!

It's faster to people in the US too now I think. Anyone care to verify that?

Verified. The entire site is much more responsive. Even load times on image-heavy posts have increased significantly.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
