So ive been dealing with what i thought has been fungus on the gills for quite some time. four of my axies got it. it takes over their gills and takes them off quick.. i dont think its fungus due to the fact that its not fluffy cotton. its really dense whitish yellow. it has also affected a few of them on the mouth area.. taking their lips off. ive been doing salt baths which seems to clear it up but it keeps comming back.. one of my axies has zero gills now. they eat plenty and are hella active. ive have them all pretty much separted. i have a 75 gal tank with a fluvel fx5 (turned way down). my water params.. nitrate 5-10. ammonia and nitrite unreadable.. nuetral ph. cold water.. ive heard maybe gill flukes? but the lips and mouth? ill try and get pics up... i really dont have a vet to go to.. or money... and takin an axie to a vet seems a lil overkill
