In honor of the new thread, here's the Newt joke I tell everyone:

There was an article in our local paper about going to assist on a certain road on rainy nights in spring, so they don't get run over...

Here'a a little poem I wrote to a little guy who unfortunately didn't make it:

My Newt

My newt is cute
And so minute


(the short version is, "My newt is minute.") And baby newts are "minutia."
I'm sure there could be a haiku out of it somehow...haiku writers...

A newt goes into a pub and walks up to the bar.
Barman: “what can I get you?”
Newt: “Got any worms?, Got any worms?, Got any worms?, Got any worms?, Got any worms?”
Barman: “No, this is a pub. The only snacks we have are crisps and peanuts.”

The newt looks dejected and walks out :sad:.

5 minutes later the newt walks back in.
Newt: “Got any worms?, Got any worms?, Got any worms?, Got any worms?, Got any worms?”
Barman: “You again? I’ve told you already we only have crisps or peanuts”

Once again the newt looks dejected and walks out.
5 minutes later the newt walks back in.

Barman: “Look mate, if you come in here asking for worms one more time I’m going to nail your tail to the bar!”


Newt: “Got any nails?”
Barman: “No”……
