How long will it take for a baby newt to get to an adult size?

In general most newts will reach adult size in around 2-3 years although growth is somewhat dependant on how much you feed or how they're kept i.e. aquatic or terrestrial. Many newts can be sexually mature before they reach full adult size.

kk thank you very much, just my banded newts and smooth newts are still SOOOOO small.. and eat loads!! lol

What food(s) are you feeding them? Some foods seem to make animals grow faster than others. If they are eating loads, they should grow, though it may take several months to see a noticeable change in size.

they eating bloodworms, and daphnia (sp)
what they have in the shop - so one of those..
i tried frozen nat lareve too but they didnt like them.
