Thanks for making the decision for me, Stuart. At least I am not the bad guy anymore :rolleyes:

How did you find it Stuart? I just knew he had posted it on a thread about Taricha, so I just searched his username and "Taricha" and found it.

no problem! I've never been good with secrets (;
I suppose I am the bad guy then! ahah
after you said it was on another thread from a while back, I used the site search and searched "waltl breeding" and a few threads came up. I looked through them until I found this one. And then I couldn't help but post it!

That's it now, Stuart. It won't be Ebola that wipes out humanity, it will be the plague of waltl's advancing across the globe leaving nothing but scorched earth in their wake.

I would love some, unfortunately you're in the US so it's a bit too far away!

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
