Is my Tiger Salamander larvae morphing?

Nute
As you are new to keeping tiger sals, you may find this article from Caudata Culture to be helpful:
Caudata Culture Articles - Tiger Salamander 101

In looking at your terrestrial setup, one thing I would recommend would be to replace your aquarium top with a mesh screen top. Tiger sal enclosures need to be well ventilated. Stagnant/humid air in the enclosure can lead to diseases. As you live in a 'swampy' coastal area - you probably have ambient humid air already...more reason for good ventilation.

Yes, sorry I hadn't noticed that about your tank. Jan is right, a mesh top would be better then an aquarium top. Having better ventilation might help him settle more. It might be a little too humid in his tank.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I fed them today and Sally ate 4 5-7 inch earth worms and Nick still only ate 1 :-( . Ill just feed them as much as they will eat everyday for a while. Thanks, Nute.

I imagine that the worms you are feeding them are not night crawlers right? Are the worms very thin bodied? Night crawlers are fairly fat bodied worms and can get to be pretty long as well and if you are able to get some you could try feeding Nick the night crawlers. One big night crawler could be fairly equal to two regular earthworms if the ones you are feeding them are thinner worms. That way you could basically trick him into eating more.
Do you dig up the earthworms yourself or do you buy them from the bait shops?

They are common earthworms I bought from the bait shop. I've been thinking of buying some night crawlers, and attempting to breed them.

Yea, night crawlers would definitely be good since they have a lot more meat on them then common earthworms. You could feed Nick, and your girl both one big night crawler a day and that will be plenty for them as opposed to feeding multiple of the common earthworms. And I say feed them one night crawler a day cause sometimes its deceptive on how big they actually are lol, I've pulled out one from the container sometimes and it seems like its a small worm then all the sudden it stretches out and its huge ^.^. And breeding your own, you'd always know that your worms are healthy.

Also, I read a thread here that someone posted having the same problem as you where after morphing their tiger was shy and someone answered that after morphing tigers will sometimes get shy and it takes them some time to get used to you again and start acting like they were before. So I'm sure your Nick will eventually stop being skittish as time goes on.

Thanks, I will be inquiring about night crawlers today when I go to the bait shop. I appreciate that, Nute.

ok here are a couple of new pics of the two of them. He didnt eat today, but he had a 8 inch night crawler yesterday. She did eat(gluton). I have also noticed the tips of his toes are all black, sexual maturaty already? I also installed an air contioning unit in they're bed room so the temp is now a steady 66*F.

Great pics, he's definitely got nice coloring. Its great that you got an air conditioner, they should be much happier now with the cooler temp, also with cooler temps your morphed tiger won't need to eat as often so he may not eat every day.

As for the black toes, I don't know if that is a sign of sexual maturity in tigers, I know Axolotls get darker toes when they are sexually mature but I'm not sure if that goes for tigers as well. Being that yours just morphed, I don't think he's over a year yet, and I've read in many places that tigers aren't sexually mature until they are 4 or 5 years of age. Hopefully someone who knows for sure can enlighten us because I'm fairly curious to know for sure. My boy has black toes too. It could just be part of their coloring though which I am leaning more towards rather then sexual maturity.

Yea, I definitely noticed a change in they're appetites with the room at a consistent 66

Since the temp is lower and more consistent they are eating every other day. Unfortunately not in the same days lol. Still waiting in the female to show signs if morphing.

As always, great pics ^.^ your Nick has a cute little face lol.

Thank you. Do u think he is tigrinum or movortum?

Its really hard to tell actually, which subspecies he is. When I checked the ranges of tiger salamanders, the only ones native to Alabama seem to be the Gray Tiger, but since you got him at a pet shop he could be any subspecies. He doesn't really look like a gray, he looks more like an eastern or a blotched. I don't think you'll be able to say for sure though what subspecies he is.

He isn't barred I don't think, Maybe eastern, Idk. Maybe someone will know.

It's nigh on impossible to tell by pattern alone. You need locality data. I agree with Jack; since you got him at a pet shop, he could be anything. Chances are it's an eastern (A. tigrinum), since that's what's in your local area, but you'll never know for sure.

Yea, I'd have to agree that he's most likely Eastern as well

Yea, that's understandable, I just enjoy them, and they're little personalitys.
