EMERGENCY, NEED HELP BADLY, IN PORTLAND OREGON IF YOU ARE LOCAL:
I need help, badly. I've been in the process of moving hell for the last 2 weeks, while this has been going on Harry got sicker...he had stopped eating almost 6 weeks ago now...
I had had a nitrate spike but he was the only one effected...looked like ammonia burns at first, red blotches shriveled gills and such so I moved him to an tub und er the air conditioner and put in an airstone. He didn't get better so I resorted to the fridge...
He has been in the fridge in spring water since the 19th (there had been ammonia in my tap water), and he is worse. Tried a salt bath a few days ago and couldn't handle watching him thrash in it so I took him out after 5 minutes...I'm at a loss for what to do. Heck if anyone is in the portland area, I'd even be happy for someone to come look at him as I fear he is going to die, hasn't eaten in a month either.
I desperately need help.
One gill stalk has gone white, but not with fuzz. It's just white and the stalks are white and filaments too...
I tried a dash of prazipro in a quick bath when changing the fridge tub in case the white has been flukes...I'm devistatedd and exhausted and desperate for help.
Any ideas on what to do or what is going on?
