S.s. terrestris Orange Form?

I have a question regarding Orange Form terrestris. Does anybody know how common are they in the U.S.? In Europe? I imagine they're next to impossible to find in the U.S., is Europe the same way?

I actually raised a batch of S.s.salamandra that I got from a gravid female at Northern California wholesaler and gave most away but raised 4 and two turned out to be orange on the verge of light red. I was keeping them outside and one escaped through a incorrectly closed lid of a shoe box type container. The others I gave to a friend who I haven't seen since.
They exist in the US but aren't common.

In Europe, there are found orange S.s. terrestris in nature, but they´re not common here also. The following photograph is taken by a man who has been herping around Salamandra-habitats in Germany for 40 years, in fact this is the first orange one he has ever seen.
