Nice place! Is that a freshwater shrimp just below the 3rd larva? Looks like a good meal!

how did you manage to avoid the water reflecting in the picture?

Jen: yes it is. They are very numerous in this type of streams. I think this is major part of their diet.
Francesco: I made a small "wave breaker" from pieces of wood and set it around the larvae
