Sick salamander

I have a white salamander had it for 3 years along with a black one...never had any problems with them feed them mussels ...but 2 weeks ago the white one stopped eating he seemed to find it hard to stay on the bottom..this week it is still not eating and it's back legs appear not to be working I was told by the pet shop where I bought them they were both boys but not sure myself how to tell...any body have any ideas what or where I can go for help

The vets that CJ1981 has mentioned have treated axolotl before, so if you could get to see them I am sure they will be happy to help.

Could you may be add some photo's too so we can see what the problem is ?

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
