Hi,
Do you think its okay to use pillbugs and or sowbugs in a salamanders habitat?
I would think that they would help out i.e. eat uneaten foods, eat mold, and provide a little extra food for the salamander.
Whats your thoughts on this?

I use them. Doesnt bother my two lined salamanders or dusky salamanders.

Where did you get yours?

They are quite nice foods, actually - you can even breed them yourself in a separate box. See here and here and here - or, well, just plain here. :D

Woodlice, pillbugs and sowbugs are frequently discussed in the food section of the forum: http://www.caudata.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11.

I'm moving this to the relevant section.
