You know you've been keeping newts too long when.....

This morning:

You had a dream about meeting new people that also like salamanders (a rare occasion in this part of holland), and one of them gave you 1 salamandra algira that was appearantly pregnant and had fertilised eggs...

the stuff where dreams are made of!
 
I remember vividly how I looked at the eggs and saw at least 3 larvae! Didn't you guys ever dreamed about your newts?
 
you consider calling your first born sally amanda knowing she'll get sal for short.
 
After a hard day, you gaze longingly into your newt enclosure and wish you could shrink...and live in there for a little while. (Without getting eaten).
 
you get webbed toes

you wish that there were more girls out there that like amphibians

you envy your axolotls because they have such a good stress free no deadlines life

your favourite dream is when you go to mexico, or any part of central/south america, to go on a collecting trip to bring back wierd and wonderful species of amphibians and fish, and then vouch to breed them, and return the young ones to the wild
