Looks like a leucistic mavortium !?

How lucky you are to have one,

in 10 years and 5 breedings ( 5 x 100 larvae) I nevet got one...(or albino)

can't wait for its metamorphosis !...

They were offered and given to me. John still has access to this individual if he needs. It'll be great if we all could have one of these one day.

I'm interested if it could breed. You should look for neotenic tigers (As impossible as that may be) and try to breed it

Neotenic individuals do breed with non neotenic partners. Especially in Barred Tiger Salamanders it's been documented. If I ever do get eggs I'll let you know!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
